Republicans have vowed to investigate the alleged criminal behavior of President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter.
A new poll conducted by Rasmussen Reports shows the majority of likely voters approve the probe into Hunter.

62% of likely voters approve an “investigation of Hunter Biden’s overseas deals.” 42% of voters “strongly approve” the investigation.
Republican Reps. James Comer (R-Ky.) and Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) will likely spearhead the investigation as part of the House Oversight and Judiciary committees.
Their goal is to determine whether Biden “is a security risk and whether he is compromised by foreign governments” as a result of Hunter’s alleged criminal activity.
The poll found that only 34% disapprove and 23% strongly disapprove. These folks are likely far-left Democrats who will deny any wrongdoing by the Bidens for political purposes, even in the face of overwhelming evidence.
Sources say criminal charges could be “imminent” for Hunter, including crimes related to taxes and the purchase of a firearm.
A federal investigation was launched into the president’s son in 2018 under the direction of Trump-appointed U.S. attorney David Weiss of Delaware.
According to the NY Post, sources say there are two crimes the investigation is now centered on:
First, Hunter allegedly failed to report income for many of his dealings overseas. Second, he also allegedly purchased a firearm while he was regularly smoking crack cocaine.
To purchase a firearm, Biden would have needed to lie about his unlawful use or addiction to illegal substances like crack cocaine. Lying on the paperwork for a firearm purchase is a criminal offense.
“After Republicans won a majority in the House of Representatives in the midterm elections, incoming House committee chairs announced they would investigate whether President Joe Biden was ‘compromised’ by his son Hunter’s business deals,” Rasmussen Reports published in their study.
“Sixty-one percent (61%) of voters believe it’s likely – including 44% who say it’s Very Likely – that Joe Biden was consulted about and perhaps profited from his son Hunter’s overseas business deals including at least one involving a company in mainland China.”
“Thirty-four percent (34%) don’t think it’s likely Biden was consulted about his son’s deals. These findings are nearly unchanged from September.”
