‘It’s Happening’: Republicans Make A Promise That Hunter Biden Won’t Like

House Republicans are proposing a probe into Hunter Biden’s business dealings in China, according to Fox News.

The Republicans are warning that “accountability is coming” for the first family.

Several members of the House Oversight and Reform Committee said an inquiry into Hunter’s business dealings with Harves Group, a company linked to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

Hunter also had close ties to the Chinese company’s CEO, Francis “Fran” Person.

Between 2009 to 2014, Person worked in the Obama administration as an adviser to Vice President Biden and a special assistant to President Obama.

“The Biden family’s suspicious business dealings with companies tied to Communist China are a national security threat,” Oversight ranking member Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., told Fox News Digital.

“The Bidens sold access to foreign foes like China to enrich themselves to the harm of American interests.

“Next Congress, Republicans will use the power of the gavel to deliver answers, transparency and accountability for the American people.”

At Harves Group, Person wrote Hunter an email in July 2015 asking him to China the next month to meet with Bo Zhang, the company’s founder.

Person wrote, “Bo Zhang and his family would be our hosts. They are a wonderful family with excellent reputations and contacts in China. ”

“They are quite discreet and would not tell anyone about your visit. Bo’s father-in-law is the Governor of Hainan (Chinese Hawaii), which he never mentions.”

Person continued, “I’d like to introduce you to Bo. He’s a talented man who has been nurtured to inherit his family’s legacy, yet he’s quite modest. He will accomplish great things one day, but he will require the support of others.”

“He and his wife live in Washington, DC, and they are expecting a kid. He is building a large house in McLean and intends to work and live in the United States.”.

Hunter was also sending out email pitches to seek funds for Person’s campaign.

Person received $2,700 each from Schwerin and Hunter, including $1,000 from then-second lady Jill Biden.

Hunter referred to Zhang as a “good friend and business colleague” in an email to Henry Zhao, a CCP official.

In December 2015, Person and Zhang both attended a White House Christmas celebration.

Eric Schwerin, Hunter Biden’s business partner, wrote Person an email in March 2017 describing Hunter’s LLC’s ownership interests and project details.

Neither Person nor Zhang has been accused of any professional or criminal wrongdoing.
