President Obama has less than a week less in the White House.
Millions of Americans are relieved about that.
Hillary Clinton ran on the promise that she would continue most of President Obama’s policies that have decimated the Democrat Party over the last 8 years.
She lost by a fairly wide margin in the Electoral College.
That should tell you everything you need to know about the job President Obama did.
Here’s the quote that is getting the most attention.
From The Daily Caller:
“I think everybody has to acknowledge, ‘Don’t underestimate the guy because he, he’s going to be 45th president of the United States.’ The one thing I’ve said to him directly — and I would advise my Republican friends in Congress and supporters around the country — is just make sure that as we go forward certain norms, certain institutional traditions don’t get eroded, because there’s a reason they’re in place.”

What is he talking about exactly?
Seems like he is implying that Donald Trump is going to be a lawless and overreaching president.
Which is pretty rich coming from the least transparent administration in modern history.
Let’s also not forget about Obama’s love affair with executive orders.
It seems highly unlikely that President Obama is going to refrain from getting involved in politics once he leaves the White House.
Obama is right about not underestimating Trump as a general matter.
Hillary tried it. Didn’t work out so well for her.
We will have to wait and see how he reacts to Donald Trump dismantling many of the moves he made the past 8 years.
