One day after news that the Obama Administration sent $221 Million to the Palestinian Authority on the morning of President Trump’s Inauguration, Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu is sending a bold message.
Israel has announced an action which directly defies the orders of the U.N. and the Obama Administration.
Check it out (via IJR):
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman approved the construction of 2,500 new housing units in the West Bank on Tuesday.
According to a Defense Ministry press release, most of the units are located within settlement blocs, while some 100 of them are located in the settlement of Beit El, and others in Migron. However, a look at the planned locations shows the construction is slated for outside the settlement blocs, as well.
Netanyahu isn’t kidding around. Of the move, he said:
“We are building, and will continue to build.”
This action comes after the Obama Administration abstained from vetoing a United Nations resolution that claimed Israel had begun settling in supposed Palestinian territory.
