President Obama and his family have begun the transition from public life to private life after 8 years of living in the White House.
But that doesn’t mean that people won’t be closely watching what they do.
Guess who was just spotted out for a stroll in the posh D.C. neighborhood of Kalorama?
The Obama dogs.
From The Daily Mail:
As the Obamas settle into normal life in their new $4.3million home, pups Sunny and Bo were spotted adjusting to their new dog walker.
The two former first dogs were seen being taken for a stroll on Sunday in Washington D.C.

Apparently, the Obama family members aren’t the only ones who are making adjustments.
Compare this image with the way President George W. Bush handled his dog responsibilities.
From The Guardian:
Bush – who left the White House just over four months ago – told a graduating high school class in New Mexico this week that his readjustment to a normal existence had been brought sharply into relief while taking the dog for a walk and encountering the hazards that entails.
“I realised this was the first time I’d been walking in a neighbourhood for 14 years,” he said, according to the Roswell Daily Record. “It’s not all that hard, by the way. You take one step, and then you take another.”
He said this new life became complicated when his Scottish terrier made a mess. “And there I was, former president of the United States of America, with a plastic bag on my hand,” he recalled. “Life is returning back to normal.”
We will have to wait and see what happens but it is a pretty safe bet that we will be hearing a lot from the Obama family going forward.
