Mitch McConnell’s Comment About Spending Cuts Could Be A BIG Problem…

Draining the swamp in Washington D.C. means a lot of different things and it is going to take some time.

Special interests, lobbyists, Obamacare, regulations, and spending all need to be rolled back.

As far as spending goes, it’s time to start making some major cuts.

Donald Trump has made it clear he’s on board with that.

Mitch McConnell?

Not so much…

From The Hill:

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said Tuesday that a budget that slashes State Department funding likely wouldn’t clear the Senate.

Asked if a budget that cuts the agency’s funding by roughly a third could pass the upper chamber, McConnell told reporters “probably not.”

“When we get to funding the government, obviously it will be done on a bipartisan basis,” he said.
