United States Defense Secretary General James Mattis is meeting with Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu.
They plan to discuss the strategy of combating terrorism and to restore confidence between the two nations.
In a statement to the media, the Prime Minister applauded President Donald Trump’s decision to act against the use of chemical weapons in Syria.
He said, “We sense a great change in the direction of American policy. I think this is a welcome strategic change of American leadership & policy.”
Secretary Mattis echoed the policy by saying, “We are committed to… doing whatever it takes to pass on peace and freedom to the next generation.”
