VICTORY!! Trump Just Signed An Order That Has Religious Groups CHEERING

President Trump signed a long-awaited religious freedom executive order on Thursday, per The Hill.

The order allows religious groups and organizations to partake in politics to a greater extent without their tax-exempt status coming under fire.

Check it out:

The measure is designed to ease enforcement of a provision in the federal tax code known as the Johnson Amendment that bars religious institutions from endorsing or opposing political candidates and parties. It directs the IRS to “exercise maximum enforcement discretion” of the amendment, according to the White House.

Additionally, it orders regulatory relief for those who object to ObamaCare’s preventive service mandate on religious grounds.

This was another of Trump’s major campaign promises prior to November, and was a top priority for many conservatives who supported him for office.
