I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end….I will see God….
With so much bad news in the world, it’s easy to think that things are just going to keep getting worse and worse.
But I doubt that God wants us to think that way.
In the 1970s, America went through a gloomy period. But with the presidency of Ronald Reagan it became “morning in America” once again. Reagan was a realist, but he was also an optimist because he had faith in God’s Providence, and so should we.
God tells us that in the end we will see Him, which means if we are faithful nothing can stand between us and our heavenly glory. From God’s Word to your heart, cling to the promise that “God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose” (Rom. 8:28).
God never forsakes us. That’s one lesson from the book of Job. If we stay faithful through all of life’s trials, God will reward us in the end. We should always trust in His justice.
