All your words are true; all your righteous laws are eternal.
Psalm 119:160

One Easter, our family hunted for eggs in many feet of new snow. Thankfully, brightly colored eggs are simple to spot. That weekend, I remember hearing Pope Benedict sum up the lessons of the Gospel in a simple yet profound way: “Life is stronger than death. Good is stronger than evil. Love is stronger than hate. Truth is stronger than lies.”

In a world where truth seems passe and unimpressive, it’s good to remember this straightforward, stabilizing truth.

It doesn’t matter what the culture says, God’s Word endures forever.
It doesn’t matter what the Supreme Court says, God’s Word is true.

It doesn’t matter what the media say, God’s Word is life-giving.
It doesn’t matter what a blog post says, God’s Word is kind.
It doesn’t matter what a pop psycho-blah-blah says, God’s Word holds the secret to peace.
It doesn’t matter what social media commenters type, God’s Word is joy.
