U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley said on CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday that North Korea “will be destroyed” if the U.S. is forced to use the military option, according to The Daily Caller.
Haley commented that the U.S. is “dealing with someone who is being reckless, irresponsible, and who is continuing to give threats.”

On CNN’s “State of the Union,” host Dana Bash asked Haley if the president’s promise of “fire and fury” referred to a military option with North Korea.
“You’d have to ask the president what fire and fury meant but we all know that basically, if North Korea keeps on with this reckless behavior, if the United States had to defend itself or defend its allies in any way, North Korea will be destroyed,” Haley asserted.
Haley assured Bash that “none of us want war” but said “we also have to deal with the fact that you are dealing with someone who is being reckless, irresponsible, and is continuing to give threats…so something is going to have to be done.”
