Snaps of past season, and also inside our local Green Bay Packers Bar (called Arctic Circle Club), it’s the Northernmost Packer bar in the world. My dad has a special corner in it via his prep gridiron days with the great Jerry Kramer who is STILL the best pro player STILL not in the Hall of Fame!

Prep Time: 30 min.

Cook Time: 1 hr.

  • Servings: 8

  • The toppings make the chili. Shredded cheese, dollops of sour cream, chopped onions, and tortilla chips atop each bowl. Todd and other guys in the family insist on Pilot Bread for dipping.

    • 1 pound moose hamburger, preferably self-harvested (or caribou or beef)
  • 1 pkg of regular chili seasoning mix
  • 1 pkg of hot chili seasoning mix
  • 2 16-ounce cans of tomato sauce
  • 8 16-ounce cans of dark red kidney beans

Step 1

  • Brown the meat.

Step 2

  • Add chili seasoning mixes, tomato sauce and drained kidney beans. Reserve half the liquid if a thinner chili is desired.

Step 3

  • Stir, bring to a boil, then simmer for at least an hour.

Step 4

  •  Enjoy with your favorite toppings, you can’t go wrong!
