JUST IN: North Korea Forging Ahead With AGGRESSIVE Missile Schedule

North Korea is reportedly pursuing an “aggressive schedule” to achieve an operational ballistic missile submarine, according to Fox News.

This new report was discovered as a result of the analysis of satellite images of the country.

The images of Sinpo South Shipyard released on Thursday by 38 North, a project by the U.S.-Korea Institute at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies that specializes in North Korea analysis, suggested there were signs of movement and parts in the area since the start of the year. The shipyard has been notoriously known to be used to build large submarines for North Korea’s army, the analysis stated.

There are several indicators at play that suggest the regime is working quickly to build a submarine with missile capabilities.

“The presence of what appear to be sections of a submarine’s pressure hull in the yards suggests construction of a new submarine, possibly the SINPO-C ballistic missile submarine — the follow-on to the current SINPO-class experimental ballistic missile submarine,”  the 38 North report said.

The report said that an object spotted in the images appears to resemble a launch canister support or launch canister, and mimics how a missile might be launched from a submarine. It clarified, however, that it does not appear that the country is preparing for a test launch in the near future.

North Korea has vowed in recent years to achieve submarine-launch capabilities.
