North Korean leader Kim Jong Un accused South Korea and the U.S. of pushing the world to the brink of “nuclear war” just one day before the south plans to conduct their biggest-ever round of military exercises, according to Daily Mail.
North Korea branded the two countries as “warmongers” just a few days after it conducted an ICBM test that officials claim has the power to reach any city in the United States.

The North’s ruling party Rodong newspaper slammed the upcoming drill and said: ‘It is an open, all-out provocation against the DPRK, which may lead to a nuclear war any moment.
‘The US and South Korean puppet warmongers would be well advised to bear in mind that their DPRK-targeted military drill will be as foolish as an act precipitating their self-destruction.’
National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster confirmed concerns, saying that the possibility of war with the hostile regime is “increasing every day.”
He said: ‘I think it’s increasing every day, which means that – we are in a race to be able to solve this problem.
‘There are ways to address this problem short of armed conflict, but it is a race because he’s getting closer and closer, and there’s not much time left.’
