Kellyanne Conway doesn’t miss a beat.
The President’s Senior Advisor quickly responded to a tweet by Chelsea Clinton, attacking her for a misspoken comment in which she referred to “Bowling Green massacre” (via The Hill).

Clinton had called Conway out for the mistake, accusing her of making it up.
Very grateful no one seriously hurt in the Louvre attack …or the (completely fake) Bowling Green Massacre. Please don't make up attacks.

Conway was referring to a terrorist plot foiled by the FBI in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She later clarified that she had misspoken, saying that she had meant to say “Bowling Green terrorists.”
As usual, the media pounces on Conway for what appears to have truly been an obvious mistake in word choice, while completely ignoring the facts surrounding her point.
Check it out (via Politifact):
The Obama-era action was taken after a failed plot by Iraqi nationals living in Bowling Green to send money, explosives and weapons overseas to al-Qaida. The two men were arrested by the FBI in May 2011 for actions committed in Iraq and trying to assist overseas terrorist groups.

The mainstream media just can’t seem to get it together.
