Trump’s Newest Hire Is Sparking BIG Controversy

American political consultant Karl Rove is seen at the Tampa Bay Times Forum in Tampa, Florida, during final preparations for the opening of the Republican National Convention on August 27, 2012. Due to tropical storm Isaac, the convention will come to order later today, Monday August 27th, and then immediately recess until the afternoon on Tuesday, August 28th. A Karl Rove confidante, Michael Dubke, is expected to serve as the Trump White House Communications Director, per Breitbart.

This is an interesting piece of news given Rove’s outspoken opinion of Trump during the 2016 campaign.

Check it out:

The decision to bring in Dubke is puzzling, as he is not just any Rove confidante. In 2001, he actually founded one of Rove’s main firms, Crossroads Media, LLC—a media firm that provides services to Rove’s American Crossroads. He is still listed on the Rove firm’s website as a founder of the outfit.

President Trump is very suspicious of Rove and his acolytes and has made that point clear for years now. In an interview with Breitbart News back in April 2016, the now-President of the United States said that Rove is a “is such a dishonorable guy” that he “shouldn’t be allowed to write for the Wall Street Journal.”

CNN Reporter Jim Acosta tweeted this of the news:

  1. This decision, if true, is very disconcerting.

We did not help elect Mr. Trump as POTUS to give power and influence to people like Karl Rove.

      • It’s hillarious.
Rove was soo Rhino with predictions that Trump cannot win, Trump cannot do this or that!

It is absolutely hillarious for Trump to say Not only did I win, but I am taking your communications and media guy as well!

Trump proved that those who didn’t believe in him were not with the majority of American people and off in the own world, not in tune!

        So funny!

    • It’s not giving power to Karl Rove by Any means. WE ALL KNOW HOW TRUMP FELT ABOUT ROVE! It has to do with the media, communications and breaking through this false news! Trump knows what he is doing! DEFINITELY NOT FOR ROVE!

      • With respect you are wrong. There are many trump loyalists who could do a better job.

People loyal to the GOP Never Trump wing should not be anywhere near this administration, but they are and it is part of the problem.

    • It truly has nothing to do with Rove and everything to do with the communication and media needed for Trump! Trump is not keen with Rove

    • Actually Rove didn’t get to Texas until 1977. He got his “start” years before that. In 1973 he was elected as National Chairman by the College Republican National Committee. He was also hired as a Special Assistant in the RNC by RNC Chairman GHWB. That is when, in 1973, “He caught the eye of” GHWB.

As for the dirtiest campaign in Texas; that honor will always go to LBJ.

  2. Not so sure about this pick, but then again, this POTUS is unlike any other before him. DJT seems to thrive on chaos…so I’ll reserve judgment for now.

  3. It’s not giving power to Karl Rove by Any means. WE ALL KNOW HOW TRUMP FELT ABOUT ROVE! It has to do with the media, communications and breaking through this false news! Trump knows what he is doing! DEFINITELY NOT FOR ROVE! Sorry Rove!

  4. Definetly not to be concerned! I think it is hillarous.

Trump is telling Rove I Won and I am taking your media and communications guy!

After all the wrong predictions against Trump and not so kind words!

I really think this is funny!
