President Trump tweeted this afternoon that the media was an enemy of the state, and of course everyone’s primary concern on Twitter is now the White House Correspondence Dinner.

A few tweets have actually made some sense:

Consider this: if media are more concerned with their formal dinner with the President than they are with their reputations as journalists, perhaps they’re really not reliable after all?

    • that wont happen until he breaks up the huge media monopolies. ive said this from the start of his campaign. in order to get the news they should compete for the story, against other news organizations competing for the same story. pull a standard oil suit on them and break them up!

  1. Very true, they focus on President Trump, but their job is to inform “the people” To much is about themselves.

  2. If it turns out that certain TV or News papers received government money funneled through a third party (Soros) to represent a political party or political philosophy or the TV and NEWS papers criminally liable?

  3. Fox News, CBN, WND, and probably a few others can still enjoy the dinner I would think since they do try to report the news fairly. If the fake news media don’t want to attend, who cares?

  4. Frankly, I’m hoping he cancels the White House Press Dinner. It should have never been instituted in the first place. Whine and dine the press and have the press garner power and favors and feel like they are entitled elites. That’s what it was and has become. It was never going to be a good thing for our country. It’s especially bad now with a celebrity press that’s as Marxist and anti-American as it gets.

    Get rid of it.
