This week, Vice-President Pence stopped by the Munich Security Conference and ended up spending some time with U2 frontman Bono.
The conversation was a lot more pleasant than most people probably expected.
From Allen B. West:
Given his publicly-known liberal views and his criticism of President Trump (such as referring to him as the “worst idea that’s ever happened to America” in September 2016), many were surprised to see U2 frontman Bono praise Mike Pence earlier today. The two met at the Munich Security Conference, and Bono told Pence that he appreciated the meeting, then thanked him for two bills he supported in Congress to provide AIDS medication to African nations.
In fact, he went so far as to say, “It was an extraordinary accomplishment. You played a leading role.”
As you can imagine, liberals didn’t like that too much.
Liberal tolerance strikes again.
