President Donald Trump voiced strong support for the nation of Israel a few weeks ago in his meeting with Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.

Yesterday, Vice President Mike Pence echoed support for “our most important ally” during his speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference.

This is what he said, per the Daily Caller:

Speaking to the GOP’s conservative base, Pence took a very strong position in support of the state of Israel. “I’m proud to stand with the president, who stands with our most important ally, the Jewish state,” Pence told the audience of conservative activists.

“Israel’s fight is our fight, its cause is our cause and her values are our values,” the vice president said to a standing ovation.

Trump is scheduled to speak at the conference today. Stay tuned.
