Hollywood unsurprisingly took Friday’s cancelled ACHA vote as an opportunity to rake President Trump and Speaker Ryan over the coals for their supposed “failure.”
It will forever be ironic that America hears from them in these moments, after 8 years of radio silence over the countless stumbles, scandals, and failures of the Obama administration.
Check it out (via The Hollywood Reporter):
John Legend, Michael Moore and Mark Ruffalo were among those who took to Twitter shortly after to comment on Trump’s defeat.
“Congratulations to the #Resistance for win on Health Care,” wrote Ruffalo. Moore took a jab at the business mogul turned president’s deal-making skills in a nod to Trump’s 1987 book: “So much for the Art of the Deal.”
We can only hope Hollywood continues to claim this “victory” for democrats and the “#resistance”—it means they’ll be to blame when the whole Obamacare system comes crashing down around us.
