“Brexit” Team Eyes US, Seeks PROFOUND Change To The Country..

LONDON, ENGLAND - APRIL 02: UKIP party leader Nigel Farage leaves Broadcasting House after an interview on the BBC's Today Programme on radio 4 on April 2, 2015 in London, England. Mr Farage will face his political party opponents this evening when Green party leader Natalie Bennett, Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg, Labour leader Ed Miliband, Plaid Cymru leader Leanne Wood, Scottish National party leader Nicola Sturgeon and Conservative leader David Cameron take part in the first cross party live debate on ITV. The two men largely responsible for leading the charge on the “Brexit” movement, where the United Kingdom is voting to consider withdrawing from the European Union, has their eyes set on a new project.

They are eyeing the separation of the State of California into two States.

Per Daily Mail:

Former UKip leader Nigel Farage and Leave backer Arron Banks have just returned from the United States, where they helped raise $1million (£800,000) for a ‘Calexit’ campaign, which would split California into two eastern and western regions.

There are several ‘Calexit’ campaigns competing for a referendum in the United States, with one aiming to remove the state from America entirely as a response to President Donald Trump being elected last year.

If California separated into two States, there would certainly be political implications:

If broken apart, the eastern part of California would more likely vote Republican, giving the party two more senators and electoral college votes for a 2020 presidential election.

The Western side of the state would likely continue to vote Democrat in elections.

California may soon consider a vote:

Farage and Banks’ goal is to hold a referendum during the US midterm elections in 2018, according to The Sunday Times.

Spokesperson for the duo, Andy Wigmore, suggests the effort has increasing support:

Wigmore said that those who raised money – agriculture tycoons and tech entrepreneurs – have felt ‘left out since [Former President Ronald] Reagan’.

‘This has been done before with West Virginia and Virginia and North and South Dakota, so it can work,’ he said.

Banks added: ‘We were saying that people said the same about Brexit — and we just went and did it. The money was pledged to take it to the next level. This could be the greatest political showdown ever.’

The team may not stop at separating California into two States, but could encourage one to stand as an independent country:

Voters would then need to decide in another referendum in 2019 whether California should become a separate country.

Yes California campaigners are pushing for independence on grounds the state is out of step with the rest of the US and could flourish on its own.

  1. The Republicans in California need to have a voice over the liberals and the Hollywoodheads so dividing the may work I hear they want to call it Jefferson!

  2. This is a sign that the liberals have all but destroyed our nation’s foundation of constitutional law and rule by the people. How are my personal rights and freedom protected by the constitution if someone in another country can potentially orchestrate a process to remove the ground I live upon from its inclusion as a territory of the United States of America? The constitution ultimately protects me from rogue lunatics like Jerry Brown by providing a higher power that he must answer to and you are telling me the resident of another country can step in and potentially remove that accountability. This is insanity and I blame the authoritative overreach of power-drunk buffoons like Barack Obama for empowering lunatic liberals with his blatant disrespect of legitimate citizens and their constitution.

  3. it is not just a simple geographic solution. SAN Fran and LA need to be in a liberal state. once the illegals are kicked out southern california (orange couunty, san diego would return to GOP. the area between LA and San Fran may be a toss up. All told we could split California into different states and still each state may have larger population than some states like wyoming.

But what would be good is to have the state split the electoral vote by house district. California has 55 electoral votes and all go to the winner. obviously the minority voter for president is not represented at all. Splitting this can be done at the state level and for typical elections result in 65/35 typical percent split.

however i would agree in giving san fran to the mexicans.

  4. California secede? Only west of San Andreas Fault, a Limerick.

Should California be divided into 2 states?

I have been thinking about the merit of dividing California into 2 states. It really makes sense on so many fronts.

The name of the states should be California and Pacifis – after Atlantis that sank into the ocean.

Pacifis should include all territory west of San Andreas Fault, and
also including the whole southern portion of the San Francisco Bay up to
San Pablo following the Hayward fault. The Northern portion of the bay
    will remain in California.

California already have inspection stations for agriculture goods and
it would be relatively easy to set up more along the Fault lines. Then
as the area west of the San Andreas fault physically secedes from the
mainland it is logical to allow Pacifis to politically secede from the
    United States.

    The Limerick:

    Can part California secede?

Droughts, earthquakes all make it recede.

For west of the fault line

    Decline is the byline.

From Bay to LA all agreed.

Over 3/4 of all people of California live west of the San Andreas Fault and
nearly 70% of them voted for Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election. There
is a movement to have California secede. That is not fair, the part
east of the Fault line is really part of America, the whole Central
Valley is really flyover Country, much like real America. The language
may be Spanish in part, but that too is real America.
