The New York Times tweeted out a very misleading photo of the Patriots recent visit to the White House. The Times compared two photos, The Patriots’ visit to the White House in 2015 when Barack Obama was President, and their 2017 visit with President Trump. The photos were made to look like the turnout was better for President Obama than it was for President Trump, but the participants in the photo were just arranged differently.
The Times tried to make it look like President Trump didn’t have any support and that no one showed up. The photo caught the attention of the New England Patriots, and they publicly called out the NYT for misleading the public.
This forced the New York Times Sports Editor to make a public statement about the tweet, from The Gateway Pundit:
Yahoo politics editor, Colin Campbell tweeted out a statement that the New York Times Sports Editor, Jason Stallman gave him regarding the misleading photo…”Bad tweet by me. Terrible tweet’ I’m an idiot…”
The Times continues to put their ideological leanings above their own credibility.
