President Donald Trump and the First Lady are en route to visit wounded American soldiers at Walter Reed Hospital. Donald Trump recently fulfilled a campaign promise to veterans when he signed legislation (The Veterans Choice Improvement Act) that allows them to seek private doctors if they want to bypass the broken VA system. Empowering veterans with choice and encouraging competition can be the shot in the arm the VA system needs.
