SCARY! You Won’t Guess Who Infiltrated Germany’s Refugee Program

BERLIN, GERMANY - SEPTEMBER 10: German Chancellor Angela Merkel poses for a selfie with Anas Modamani, a refugee from Syria, after she visited the AWO Refugium Askanierring shelter for migrants and refugees on September 10, 2015 in Berlin, Germany. Merkel visited several facilities for migrants today, including an application center for asylum-seekers, a school with welcome classes for migrant children and a migrant shelter. Thousands of migrants are currently arriving in Germany every day, most of them via the Balkans and Austria. The German publication Der Spiegal has issued a report that claims a new investigation was recently launched by Angela Merkel’s security authorities into whether or not thousands of Afghani refugees are former Taliban fighters.

From Der Spiegel (via Google translate):

In the course of the refugee crisis, several thousand Taliban fighters fromAfghanistan may have come to Germany since the year 2015 . According to SPIEGEL information, the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (Bamf) reported to the German security authorities that a mean four-digit number of people had already indicated in their interviews that they had contacts with, or even fought for, the radical Islamist group in Afghanistan.

There is a lot of work to be done on the safety authorities because of the self-condemnation. According to SPIEGEL information, the prosecutor’s office already determines in more than 70 cases. Six men are under investigation. Next week in Berlin and Koblenz begin the first proceedings against accused Afghans.

This isn’t the first time the German refugee program had a problem with Taliban infiltrators. The Daily Caller reported back in December that the Taliban’s former health minister tried to seek asylum in Germany under a fake identity.

Another high ranking Taliban member was caught using fake passports as they tried to get through customs at an airport in Frankfurt last November.
