Today, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer entertained questions from various media outlets regarding the potential of a government shutdown, funding for the border wall, and immigration enforcement.
One question posed by CNN’s Jim Acosta had a very quick and confident answer by Spicer, per Bizpac Review:
During Monday’s White House press briefing, Acosta posed the short-sighted question to Sean Spicer, asking about the necessity of the President’s promised border wall in light of a decline in border crossings since he took office.
“If border crossings are down, and that’s a talking point the White House uses, is the wall even necessary?” Acosta asked the press secretary.
“Absolutely,” Spicer responded.
