House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said Monday that she “doesn’t subscribe to that” when asked whether or not President Trump should be impeached.
The question was posed by CNN Anchor Chris Cuomo during a town hall in California.

After briefly saying that these comments are in response to what members are hearing from constituents during the recent recess, Pelosi said, “They know I don’t subscribe to that.”
“In other words, again, if you are talking about impeachment, you are talking about what are the facts. Not that I don’t like him and I don’t like his hair and—what are the facts?” she said. “What are the facts that you would make a case on? What are the rules that he may have violated? If you don’t have that case, you are just participating in more hearsay.”
Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) and Rep. Al Green (D-TX) are just two of the democratic congressional members who’ve called for Trump’s impeachment in recent weeks.
