Republicans Who Did Not Support Obamacare Repeal Are Seeing IMMEDIATE Consequences

​President Donald Trump and his staff took several meetings with Senator Jeff Flake’s challengers for the upcoming primary election.

This could be because of Flake’s record of resisting the President, or because of his recent decision to not support the Obamacare repeal effort.

It looks like Trump may not be the only one looking to challenge Republicans who did not support the Obamacare repeal, the Senate Conservatives Fund just made an announcement to do the same.

SCF Will Seek Primary Challengers Against Obamacare Republicans

Alexandria, VA – Senate Conservatives Fund (SCF) President Ken Cuccinelli made the following statement today regarding Senate Republicans who vote against Obamacare repeal:

“Republicans have promised to repeal Obamacare for years and now with President Trump in the White House, there is no excuse for them to break their promise. Working with the grassroots across the country, we will seek to identify, recruit, and fund conservative challengers against Republican senators who vote against repeal. If they won’t keep their word and if they can’t find the courage to repeal a liberal takeover of our health care system that has hurt so many American families, they should be replaced by someone who will.”

Senate Conservatives Fund is a national, grassroots organization that promotes conservative policies and helps elect conservative candidates.

 

There are nine Republican Senator seats up for grabs in 2018, though six are considered safe seats (those not considered safe are Jeff Flake, Dean Heller, and Ted Cruz).
