Unthinkable: The Left Resorts To Calling Pro-Second Amendment Parkland Student ‘Hitler’

Kyle Kashuv is a name admired by many people on the Right.

The high school student survived the horrific shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. Following the tragedy, many of his peers called for gun control and gun confiscation and attributed the shooting to the National Rifle Association. Kashuv did not and instead advocated for gun ownership and defended the Second Amendment.

Following the shooting, several of Kashuv’s fellow students blamed members of the Republican Party, like Florida Senator Marco Rubio, Florida Governor Rick Scott or President Trump. Kashuv did not. He instead said local law enforcement and the FBI, who missed dozens of instances where the shooter threatened to shoot up a school over the internet, should be blamed.

As the Daily Wire reports, the student is now being called “Hitler” by those on the Left.

Check it out:

According to a high school junior student at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, history teacher Greg Pittman launched into a broadside directed at pro-Second Amendment student Kyle Kashuv in seventh period class; Pittman has attacked Kashuv repeatedly on social media as well.

According to the high school junior, who sought to remain unnamed for fear of reprisal, Pittman stated that posting photos from a gun range would get you into trouble, and then went on to “compare Kyle to Hitler in terms of what he believes.”

“This is insanity. Teachers attacking students in the classroom for their mainstream political beliefs is obviously beyond the pale,” writes the Daily Wire.

Earlier in the week, Kashuv was removed from his classroom and was interrogated over a recent visit to a gun range. An official police report was filed.

Fox News has more:

Kyle Kashuv, a student at the Florida high school where 17 people were killed in a February mass shooting, has claimed that school security officers pulled him out of class and questioned him Monday after Kashuv tweeted about visiting a gun range with his father.

In a statement to The Daily Wire, Kashuv said he was called out of class at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and told to see the security resource officer whom he identified as “Mr. Greenleaf.” Multiple reports from around the time of the Feb. 14 shooting identify Kelvin Greenleaf as a “civilian security monitor” or a “security specialist” at the school.

According to Kashuv, a second officer joined Greenleaf and both men began “questioning me intensely.”

“First, they began berating my tweet, although neither of them had read it; then they began aggressively asking questions about who I went to the range with, whose gun we used, about my father, etc. They were incredibly condescending and rude,” Kashuv said.

At that point, Kashuv claims, a Broward County sheriff’s officer joined them, “and began asking me the same questions again.” Kashuv said the officers declined to let him record the interview, but told him he hadn’t done anything wrong.

Check out this exchange – with the teacher who allegedly made the comments about Kashuv, Greg Pittman:

Kashuv first learned of the teacher’s comments via a friend and shared his response online:

A second student verified the story saying, the high school teacher called Kashuv “the next Hitler” and that “something needed to be done about him.”

Kashuv himself shared the comments of the student over social media.

“I was in class on April 25th with Gregory Pittman and near the end of class the discussion led to Kyle Kashuv’s tweet about going to the gun range,” the student said. “Pittman expressed that he could not speak badly about Kyle because he was specifically told by administration not to. Pittman began talking about what an ass Kyle was and called him ‘the next Hitler’ and said that he was ‘dangerous’ and ‘something needed to be done about him.'”
