Trump Finally Comments On John Kerry’s ‘Shadow Diplomacy,’ Absolutely Buries Him With Statement

It was recently reported that former Secretary of State John Kerry was secretly participating in international meetings with European and Middle Eastern leaders in an effort to preserve the Iran nuclear agreement.

Some people are arguing that Kerry’s meetings may violate the Logan Act.

While President Trump did not say whether or not he thinks they were illegal, he simply said they were “possibly illegal.” Trump then goes on to call out Kerry for negotiating the deal in the first place.

“The United States does not need John Kerry’s possibly illegal Shadow Diplomacy on the very badly negotiated Iran Deal. He was the one that created this MESS in the first place!” Trump tweeted.

Kerry was not the only one Trump went after over social media on Monday morning. He also tweeted about the Senate election in West Virginia, the ongoing Russia investigation by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, the upcoming confirmation hearing for CIA director nominee Gina Haspel, the 2018 midterm elections and former FBI agent Lisa Page.

The president tweeted that the people of West Virginia should vote for anyone else besides candidate Don Blankenship.

“To the great people of West Virginia we have, together, a really great chance to keep making a big difference. Problem is, Don Blankenship, currently running for Senate, can’t win the General Election in your State…No way! Remember Alabama. Vote Rep. Jenkins or A.G. Morrisey!” Trump said.

Trump mentioned the recent resignation of FBI agent Lisa Page and asked why her lover, fellow FBI agent Peter Strzok, was still employed within the Bureau.

“Lisa Page, who may hold the record for the most Emails in the shortest period of time (to her Lover, Peter S), and attorney Baker, are out at the FBI as part of the Probers getting caught? Why is Peter S still there? What a total mess. Our Country has to get back to Business!”

Trump also championed his nominee to head the Central Intelligence Agency, despite criticisms she is receiving from Democrat senators.

He tweeted, “My highly respected nominee for CIA Director, Gina Haspel, has come under fire because she was too tough on Terrorists. Think of that, in these very dangerous times, we have the most qualified person, a woman, who Democrats want OUT because she is too tough on terror. Win Gina!”

Here’s more on Haspel, via the Independent Journal Review:

Widespread pushback led several White House advisors to wonder if criticisms of her past interrogation techniques would stop all chances of Senate confirmation, the Washington Post reported.

And that skepticism led Haspel to offer to withdraw her nomination last Friday, officials familiar with Haspel’s conversations told the Post. The department nominee cited potential damages to her and the CIA’s reputation, as well as a possibly brutal confirmation process, as reason enough to step aside.

Several senior White House officials — including legislative director Marc Short and press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders — traveled to CIA headquarters to dissuade Haspel of withdrawing. Conversations stretched out over several hours, one source told the Post, and Haspel decided Saturday to see the process through.

Haspel, who served at the CIA for 33-years, continues to receive support from her own department as well as the West Wing.

“When the American people finally have a chance to see the true Gina Haspel on Wednesday, they will understand why she is so admired and why she is and will be a great leader for this agency,” CIA spokesperson Ryan Trapani said to the Post.

Trump also tweeted about the Russian investigation, which he continues to call a “witch hunt”:

“The Russia Witch Hunt is rapidly losing credibility. House Intelligence Committee found No Collusion, Coordination or anything else with Russia. So now the Probe says OK, what else is there? How about Obstruction for a made up, phony crime. There is no O [obstruction], it’s called Fighting Back,” Trump tweeted.

And, “The 13 Angry Democrats in charge of the Russian Witch Hunt are starting to find out that there is a Court System in place that actually protects people from injustice…and just wait ‘till the Courts get to see your unrevealed Conflicts of Interest!”

Finally, “Is this Phony Witch Hunt going to go on even longer so it wrongfully impacts the Mid-Term Elections, which is what the Democrats always intended? Republicans better get tough and smart before it is too late!”

The trio of tweets continue to show Trump’s frustration with what he has previously said is a “distraction” to his administration.
