Did You Hear About This? Man ‘Opens Fire’ In Oklahoma Restaurant, Stopped by Conceal Carry Hero

In Oklahoma, a man with bad intentions walked into a local restaurant and sprayed gunfire into a group of patrons. The man injured several people before he was quickly stopped with lethal force. The armed bystander, who has not yet been identified, prevented further violence and saved countless lives.

This incident happened on Thursday evening. Think it made mainstream media headlines?

Think again.

Here’s more on the story from the Oklahoma City Police Department:

Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt said in a tweet that his office is “in touch with the City Manager & the Police Chief” and “as OCPD has reported, the suspect is dead.”

“I’ve been briefed this morning by the Police Chief on the shooting last night. Our police department is doing a terrific job on the investigation. As reported below, OCPD will provide an update to the public later this morning,” the mayor later added.

And, from Fox News:

The man, police said, “was apparently shot-to-death by an armed citizen” outside the restaurant and there was “no indication of terrorism.”

The incident followed a shooting last month in Tennessee, during which a suspect opened fire at a Waffle House, killing four people. Investigators said a man inside the Waffle House confronted the gunman, ultimately disarming him. Police arrested the suspect next day.

The Oklahoma City Police will host a press conference on Friday morning concerning the shooting.
