WATCH: RNC Releases Brutal Pelosi Ad Ahead Of The Midterms, Democrats Don’t Know How To Handle It

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is loved by people on both the Left and the Right. For the Left, she’s an icon and is a central component of the party’s platform. For people on the Right, she’s a political gold mine.

Her missteps and shortcomings are easy to pick apart (“You’ve got to pass Obamacare before we can see what’s in it,” etc.) Her lines are often used by Republican campaigns to score political points, like when the Republican National Committee released an advertisement showing Pelosi compliment the violently notorious MS-13 gang.

The ad dates back to two weeks ago when President Trump referred to members of the gang as “animals.” The next day, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders doubled down on the comment and said the comment was not strong enough.

Then comes Pelosi.

The California Democrat defended the gang whose motto is “rape, control, kill.”

She said they exhibit a “spark of divinity” and said they have a “dignity and worth.”

“When the president of the United States says these aren’t people, these are animals, you have got to wonder does he not believe in the spark of divinity, the dignity and worth of every person. We’re all God’s children [and] there’s a spark of divinity in every person,” Pelosi said in a news conference. “Calling people animals is not a good thing.”

As Twitchy reports, the RNC took the Democrat leader’s statement and compiled it with a number of news clips which explain cases of MS-13 violence to create an ad.

The words following the ad are simply: “Democrats’ Midterm Message: MS-13 Killers…They’re Not So Bad.”

Check it out:

Some of the responses were brutal, take a look at what people are saying:

During a campaign rally last night in Tennessee, the Hill reports President Trump criticized Democrat senatorial candidate Phil Bredesen as a “total tool of [Democrat Senate leader] Chuck Schumer… and of course the MS-13 lover Nancy Pelosi.”

Here’s more:

“She loves MS-13, can you imagine,” the president continued. “Remember, I said they’re ‘animals’ and she said, how dare you say that.”

“Have you seen what they’ve done? Have you seen what they’re doing to us?” he said.

Trump continued to defend his characterization of MS-13 gang members as “animals,” saying Tuesday, “They’re not human beings.”
