Best President Ever? Here’s What People Are Saying About Trump Following Peace Summit

If President Trump really did just get North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un to denuclearize the Korean Peninsula, then does his long list of presidential accomplishments make him the best U.S. president ever?

Some people online seem to suggest so.

In an interview with Fox News, Citizens United President and Fox News contributor David Bossie said, “This president is the biggest game-time player I have ever been around and ever seen in my political life. He is a man who rises to the occasion, whatever that is.”

Bossie continued, “And, by the way, the G-7 was another time where he rose up to say America first. So, he has a pattern and practice of being a strong leader. That’s what helped him get to the table.”

In an interview with Fox Business, Kennedy School Professor Graham Allison said he thinks the meeting “opened a new chapter” in how the Korean Peninsula interacts with the world and said the agreement made in the summit was a “big win.”

“I think Trump and Kim established a rapport, a genuine relationship,” Graham said. “I think they opened a new chapter, they said all the right words, they actually put it in a broad context of transforming the relationship.”

Similarly, University of Virginia Center for Politics Director Larry Sabato said this meeting was a “transformational moment for Donald Trump.”

As Fox News reports, Former NBA star Dennis and frequent North Korea advocate Rodman also heaped praise on Trump and said: “Donald Trump should take a lot of credit for this. He went out the box and made this happen.”

Even MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough praised Trump for defying the odds. The frequent Trump opponent said he feels a sense of relief knowing Trump moved the country one step closer to peace with North Korea.

“I have to admit when I see these two people shaking hands I feel a sense of relief as do a lot of people in Washington, knowing how bleak the situation was six months ago,” Scarborough said on MSNBC.

Some others expressed their support for the President by suggesting he is currently accomplishing (and has accomplished) a list of things that “experts” said he would not be able to do:
