The emotional stories of families being separated after illegally crossing the U.S.-Mexico border have driven actor Peter Fonda to the breaking point. In a profanity-laced rant on social media, the actor said President Trump’s 12-year old son, Barron, should be personally ripped “from his mother’s arms” and put “in a cage with pedophiles.”
Fonda said he wants to see if that would be enough to motivate First Lady Melania Trump to “stand up against” her husband.
“Wanna stop this f*****g monster? Really wanna stop this giant a*****e? 90 MILLION PEOPLE IN THE STREETS ON THE SAME WEEKEND! THESE REPUBLICAN A*****ES ARE ALL IN ON IT! THE CHIEF A*****E IS HAPPY WE ARE ALL VERY UPSET. WE HAVE TO GET EVEN MORE ANGRY WITH THESE REPUBLICANS,” Fonda said in a tweet.
“WE SHOULD RIP BARRON TRUMP FROM HIS MOTHER’S ARMS AND PUT HIM IN A CAGE WITH PEDOPHILES AND SEE IF MOTHER WILL STAND UP AGAINST THE GIANT A*****E SHE IS MARRIED TO. 90 MILLION PEOPLE IN THE STREETS ON THE SAME WEEKEND IN THE COUNTRY. F**K,” the actor added.
The actor also suggested personally going after U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers, Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, and other law enforcement officers. He also mentioned that people should personally victimize the children of these federal officials.
“WE SHOULD HACK THIS SYSTEM, GET THE ADDRESSES OF THE ICE AGENTS CBP AGENTS AND SURROUND THEIR HOMES IN PROTEST. WE SHOULD FIND OUT WHAT SCHOOLS THEIR CHILDREN GO TO AND SURROUND THE SCHOOLS IN PROTEST. THESE AGENTS ARE DOING THIS CUZ THEY WANT TO DO IT. THEY LIKE DOING THIS. F**K,” Fonda said in another tweet.
And, “Sounds great. We don’t have to take the agents kids, we only need to surround their schools and scare the s**t out of them and worry the f**k out of the agents from CBE ICE & REGULAR BORDER PATROL AGENTS. WE NEED TO SCARE THE F**K OUT OF THEM! NEED TO MAKE THEIR CHILDREN WORRY NOW.”

It’s more than a protest! 90 million people in the streets on the same weekend works. I can’t be the organizer for they’ll arrest me for conspiracy to commit sedition. This must be like a spontaneous event without seeming to be organized by me and we have to make this happen NOW https://t.co/be9IDUN15c

Perhaps Fonda is unaware this immigration law of detaining people who illegally cross the border has been on the books since 1996 and was signed into law by President Bill Clinton. And, while it is being enforced by the Trump administration, it was similarly enforced by the Obama administration.
It seems the actor is also unaware of Democrat Chuck Schumer standing in the way of a legislative solution, forcing President Trump to consider an executive solution.
Here’s more, from Fox News:
The White House is considering executive action to allow children to stay with parents caught crossing the border illegally, Fox News has learned — a step that could avoid the family separations that have triggered a national outcry and political crisis for Republicans.
President Trump hinted at the new measure, while holding out hope for legislation, during remarks to reporters during a meeting Wednesday with lawmakers.
“I’ll be signing something in a little while [to keep families together],” he said, calling the move “somewhat preemptive” and stressing it would “be matched by legislation.” He also said he’s canceling the upcoming congressional picnic, adding: “It just didn’t feel right to me.”
As Politico reports, congressional Republicans are planning to move forward with a vote to fix the immigration situation as early as tomorrow.
“We can enforce our immigration laws without breaking families apart,” said @SpeakerRyan.
