‘I Urge All Of You…’ James Woods Responds To Maxine Waters With Tweet Of The Year

Congresswoman Maxine Waters wants Trump administration officials harassed whenever they show their face in public – whether that be at a department store, gas station or a restaurant.

James Woods seemingly thinks the harassment will move past Trump officials and extend to Trump supporters and is not taking this threat lying down.

The actor said there are two things people need to do in response.

“Now that a United States Congresswoman has called for harassment against Republicans and the inevitable violence that will come of it, I urge all of you to a) get armed, and b) vote,” Woods said in a tweet.

“Your life literally depends on it,” he added.

People responded in force.

“I’m almost always armed and I vote with a passion,” one user replied.

As Washington Examiner reports, Waters said people should harass administration officials and tell them “they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”

Per the report:

Rep. Maxine Waters said Sunday that U.S. citizens should band together to force Trump administration officials out of retailers like department stores.

The comments come after a Virginia restaurant on Friday refused to serve White House press secretary Sarah Sanders because of her position in the White House. The restaurant owner specifically cited the Trump administration’s stance on transgender people serving in the military.

“If you see anybody from the cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, and a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd to push back on them and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere,” Maxine, a Democrat from California, said at a rally.

“How close is this nut job to calling for full out assassination?” Woods initially asked in a tweet.
