President Trump started his Thursday morning by saying he may finally blow over the Democrat house of cards.
In a red-hot tweet, Trump pushed back against a recently published anonymous op-ed allegedly from a senior official in the Trump administration. The op-ed shared a number of scathing comments about Trump and how he is leading the administration. While the validity of the op-ed is only assumed and can never be verified until the author is publically known, Trump criticized the Democrats and media heads supporting it and said they are “going crazy.”
Trump said he has given the media plenty of good things to talk about: a booming economy, historic job levels, and two new Supreme Court Justices (Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh – should he be confirmed).
The president said he will give the media even more to discuss as he is contemplating the declassification of additional documents presumably relating to the former administration, campaign spying and the initiation of the Russian investigation.
“The Deep State and the Left, and their vehicle, the Fake News Media, are going Crazy – & they don’t know what to do. The Economy is booming like never before, Jobs are at Historic Highs, soon TWO Supreme Court Justices & maybe Declassification to find Additional Corruption. Wow!” Trump tweeted.

From the Daily Caller:
President Donald Trump speculated that members of his administration would be jailed for long periods of time if they pursued investigations similar to those they faced during the 2016 campaign against former president Barack Obama in an exclusive Oval Office interview with The Daily Caller.
When asked whether he would declassify documents relating to a FISA warrant obtained on Carter Page, Trump said, “Well, we’re looking at it very seriously right now because the things that have gone on are so bad.”
Trump has faced growing calls from conservative lawmakers to declassify FISA and other DOJ related documents from the 2016 investigation into his campaign. Trump and these lawmakers allege that the investigations were improperly pursued by senior FBI leaders such as Peter Strzok, Andrew McCabe and James Comey.
Lawmakers and the president have also expressed concern over the role the salacious Steele dossier played in the Trump investigation. The dossier was later revealed to have been paid for by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee.
President Trump said had the situations been flipped – had his campaign had the ins with the previous administration and had conducted the spying on the Hillary or Obama camps – then he and his campaign staff would be serving life imprisonment.
“I mean, they were surveilling my campaign. If that happened on the other foot, they would’ve considered that treasonous,” Trump said. “They would’ve considered it spying at the highest level. Can you imagine if we were doing that to Obama instead of Obama and his people doing that to us? Everybody would’ve been in jail for the next 500 years.”
3 things that should happen in September:
1) POTUS should declassify the remaining documents DOJ continues to hide
2) The Mueller investigation needs to wrap up
3) Congress should keep our promise to America and address border security

TOMORROW, I, along w/@Jim_Jordan @RepMarkMeadows @RepMattGaetz & others, will be holding a press conf calling on @realDonaldTrump to declassify & release the Page FISA apps, Ohr’s 302s & more. Powers were abused, the FISA court was misled & we have ZERO tolerance for any of it!
