Some cities across the United States are looking to push anti-gun laws, from outlawing certain guns and attachments to penalizing gun owners. Much of the anti-gun rhetoric is coming from those lawmakers on the Left and elites out of Hollywood.
But, as Governor Sarah Palin points out, those individuals who call for the elimination of guns are the same people who are quick to hire armed security at events, marches, etc.
Palin went after the “hypocritical double standard” during an interview with Mark Levin which will air Sunday night at 10pm ET on “Life, Liberty & Levin” on Fox News Channel. “People are sick of it,” she later said during the interview, per Fox News Insider.
The former vice presidential candidate reiterated the importance of the Bill of Rights in identifying the God-given right for a person to defend themselves.
“We have every right, we have a God-given right that’s codified in our Bill of Rights to protect ourselves and to protect our property and our families. It’s not just a select few that government will choose who gets to be protected. The movie stars, the politicians in D.C., those in a courthouse, no. The Bill of Rights does apply to every single citizen of the U.S.,” she said.
TOMORROW on “Life, Liberty, & Levin,” @SarahPalinUSA sits down with @marklevinshow to discuss the Second Amendment. Tune in at 10p ET on Fox News Channel! https://t.co/1J6Bcazq1e pic.twitter.com/gPP1Nkcft9

Also during the interview, the former Alaskan governor touched on why many on the Left advocate for lenient immigration policies.
Palin said it should be “obvious” why Democrats want more people in the country illegally.
“I think that they just fear that Americans aren’t gonna vote Democrat, so by golly they’ll import people who will,” she said.
Under President Trump, the economy is booming, unemployment is the lowest it has been in decades, conservative judges are being added in record numbers to federal courts, Obamacare’s individual mandate has been repealed and nearly every American will be receiving a larger paycheck as a result of the passed tax cuts. Perhaps Democrats are worried about votes.
“It comes back to either supporting the rule of law, our legal immigration system, or supporting and incentivizing illegal immigration with no expectation of assimilating any of the people into our culture or anything else. It’s really whack. People are really sick of it,” Palin continued.

President Trump is looking to combat illegal border crossings as he has has for thousands of National Guards troops to head to the U.S.-Mexico border and his administration is launching a “zero tolerance” arrest policy.
Per ABC News:
The first National Guardsmen will arrive on the border with Mexico this weekend to support the new border security mission announced by President Donald Trump earlier this week. Texas will send 150 National Guardsmen this weekend and Arizona plans to send 150 of its guardsmen to the border beginning next week.
Meanwhile, Defense Secretary Jim Mattis signed a memo Friday that authorized the potential call-up of up to 4,000 National Guardsmen for the mission though it remains unclear exactly how many Guardsmen will be mobilized to support the border mission.
“Tonight there are National Guard troops moving in support of the border security mission,” said Dana White, the Pentagon’s chief spokesperson.
“We are sealing up our Southern Border. The people of our great country want Safety and Security. The Dems have been a disaster on this very important issue!” Trump tweeted.
