Democrats who anticipated a “blue wave” in the November congressional elections may be in for a rude awakening.
Domestically, President Trump and the Republican Party have the economy booming, unemployment levels are at historic lows across nearly all demographics, and the Stock Market has seen several all-time highs.
Internationally, Trump is pushing for trade deals which are more beneficial to the United States and is pulling the country out of detrimental ones. Trump has brought North Korea to the table to negotiate peace and he has increased economic pressure on Iran.
Democrats are not helping their own cause.
Not a single Democrat voted for the tax reform legislation, they have called people to harass Trump administration officials and they have launched several campaigns across college campuses to shut down conservative speakers and they have sought to stifle the voice of people who speak against the Party.
One man they cannot stop is Brandon Straka, a man who posted a video listing the reason he left the Democrat Party. The video has gone viral, the Epoch Times reports:
Meet Brandon Straka, the unlikely liberator and new face of the “silent minority” of Americans who’ve been cast out by family and friends, fired from jobs, and forced into silent social ghettos for their failure to “get it” about how hateful and dangerous Donald Trump is, and why he and all his supporters should be subjected to an ever-expanding social and professional fatwah.
Since Straka published his confessional video on May 26, his life as a New York City hairdresser and aspiring actor has been overtaken by a tidal wave.
While speaking to The Epoch Times about the explosion of his #WalkAway campaign, Straka had to occasionally stop to go style a client’s hair, all while fielding a constant barrage of newcomers’ testimonial letters, videos, and emails—over 1,000 a day.

In the video, Straka recounts that he left the Democrat Party less than a year ago.
Here are some key lines from his testimony:
“Once upon a time, I was a liberal. Well, to be honest, less than a year ago, I was still a liberal,” Straka said in the video.
“I reject a system which allows an ambitious, misinformed and dogmatic mob to suppress free speech, create false narratives, and apathetically steamroll over the truth.”
“I reject hate.”
“These are the reasons why I became a liberal. And these are the same reasons why I am now walking away.”

Today I’m kicking off the #WalkAway campaign by releasing my video about why I am walking away from liberalism and the Democratic Party. It is my sincere hope that you will join me in this campaign and that we may start a movement in this country- which not only encourages others to walk away from the divisive left, but also takes back the narrative from the liberal media about what it means to be a conservative in America. It is up to all of us to make our voices heard and reclaim the truth. The Democratic Party has taken for granted that it owns racial, sexual, and religious minorities in America. It has encouraged groupthink, hypocrisy, division, stereotyping, resentment, and the acceptance of victimhood mentality. And all the while, they have discouraged minorities from having independent thought, open dialogue, measured and informed opinion, and a motivation to succeed. Please like and share my video, and please post your own #WalkAway video!! If you are a former liberal who has walked away from the left, please share your story, or your message, or your thoughts in a video on the WalkAway Campaign Facebook Page.If you are a lifelong conservative or non-Democrat, please share your story, message, or thoughts on what it truly means to be a conservative. Right now, the liberal media continues to perpetuate a false narrative about the “hateful” and “bigoted” right. Use your voice to let people know who conservatives really are. The hashtag is working, and Democrats can’t be happy about it.
I’m finding these #WalkAway from the Democratic Party stories so unbelievably uplifting today. And as always promised, with open arms….come on in and let’s all unite to make this country great again.

Democrats are running on empty. They have no agenda, no ideas and soon, no voters. The #WalkAway movement is gathering steam as traditional Democrat voters abandon their radical message.

As a dark-skinned immigrant atheist (Christian now) I’d have been the perfect poster boy for the Democratic Party, but for one thing: there’s nothing I hate more than a defeatist victim mentality #WalkAway

I drank the commie kool-aid when I went to college, since then I’ve done some thinking and realized it’s all about taking people’s rights away. #walkaway

This is so cool. I love seeing people walk away from the hate and vitriol of the Democrat Party. We conservatives welcome you to our diverse community with open arms and minds. #WalkAway

The Epoch Times has more of those stories:
Lea Anna Bright, in a mohawk, looks into the camera and says in a slow, simmering voice: “This is a Vice article I am reading right now. It says, ‘The activist left doesn’t give a shit about your calls for civility. Get ready for a summer of rage.’” She looks up. “This is where the party is going, and this is why I chose to walk away. Peace. Not for me. Bye.”
A man adjusts his video camera and sits back. The walls behind him are a tasteful grey-blue. He’s a gay, affluent, native New Yorker, and he’s coming out of the second closet of his life. For Ricky Roberts, the moment came after the Orlando nightclub shootings.
“Trump said he was going to protect gay men, and he did, [with] the travel ban. Hillary was telling Americans not to ‘pick on all Muslims because of this,’” and that did not feel like protection, Roberts says. “I swear to God, wanted to throw my shoe through the TV.
“At that point I was like, I can’t do it anymore. I really can’t.
