Students around Washington D.C. were asked whether they would rather date a gang member of the infamously violent MS-13 gang or someone who supports President Trump. The question was asked by two reporters from the Daily Caller and both males and females responded to the question.

Surprisingly (or perhaps not) more people said they would rather choose to date a gang member than a Trump supporter. Some people who responded took a moment to consider the two options, surely to compare the two options. Later in the video, some people shared their reasoning for choosing the gang member: some people said that it was a cultural decision while another said it was strictly political.

Check it out, per Fox News Insider:

Would you rather date an MS-13 gang member or someone who supports President Donald Trump?

That’s what Daily Caller reporters Stephanie Hamill and Julia Nista asked young people on the streets of Washington, D.C.

Stunningly, a majority of respondents said they would rather date a member of the brutal gang, which operates by the motto “kill, rape, control.”

When asked why they wouldn’t date a Trump supporter, people said those who back the president “weren’t for them” and they would “never” do it.

Some people who responded said they would refuse to date a person from either category. The only person in the video who said they would choose to date a Trump supporter said, “At least they stand for something.”

Conservative political commentator Candace Owens, during a segment with “Fox & Friends,” suggested the responses were from indoctrination from schools and the media. She said she was not very surprised by the responses.

“We confront this all the time on college campuses,” Owens said. “There is a departure from reality that is going on.”

Owens argued that “mass brainwashing” via lies from the media perpetuates the false reality.

The campaign was similar to that done by the Daily Caller last month when they asked whether students would prefer to date a Trump supporter or a convicted felon, Fox News Insider reports.

“Would you rather date a convicted felon or someone who supports President Trump?” people who were asked.

Daily Caller reporters Amber Athey and Justin Caruso led the questioning, which also took place on the streets of Washington D.C.

“Stunningly, a majority of respondents said they would rather date a convicted felon, without even knowing what crime this hypothetical individual committed,” wrote Fox News Insider.

Here’s more:

On “Fox & Friends First,” political commentator Lawrence Jones said he’s embarrassed as a millennial himself.

He noted the confidence with which many of the people said they would choose a felon over a Trump supporter.

“Our next generation is just screwed up,” Jones said. “If these are gonna be the people that are running our nation and they would prefer to date a felon, we’re screwed.”

While more people in the video said they would rather date a convicted felon, the vote was closer than the question with a MS-13 gang member as the alternative.
