Former TV Exec. Says ‘Straight, White Males’ Shouldn’t Have The Right To Vote

What in the world is mainstream media’s fascination with hating on straight, white males in America? Somebody ought to start asking the question because at this point they aren’t even trying to hide their hate.

On Tuesday, CNN’s Don Lemon said: “the biggest terror threat in this country is white men.” And, “we have to start doing something about them.”

Check it out, from Fox News:

CNN host Don Lemon is under fire after a disturbing, on-air rant in which he declared that “white men” are the biggest terror threat to the United States, noted that “there is no white-guy ban” and wondered aloud, “what do we do about that?”

Lemon continued: “I keep trying to point out to people not to demonize any one group or any one ethnicity, but we keep thinking that the biggest terror threat is something else.”

“Some people who are marching towards the border like it’s imminent. And the last time they did this, a couple of hundred people came and they, you know, most of them didn’t get into the country. Most of them got tuckered out before they even made it to the border,” Lemon said to “Cuomo Prime Time” host Chris Cuomo. “So we have to stop demonizing people and realize the biggest terror threat in this country is white men, most of them radicalized to the right, and we have to start doing something about them.”

Lemon goes on to mention there is no travel ban on white men but laments “we need to do something.”

As USA Today reports, “CNN isn’t commenting about Don Lemon’s statement that white men represent the biggest terrorist threat in the country.”

And, “A CNN spokeswoman said Wednesday neither Lemon nor the network would speak more about it.”

Lemon reportedly defended his own comments:

Now, former TV executive Steven Clifford is saying “straight, white males” should be stripped of their constitutionally protected right to vote. He called the action “the only hope for democracy in America.”

Think about that, he is actually saying a people group should be denied the right to vote because of their race and gender.

As Western Journal reports, the former executive promised that he would be campaigning to bar straight, white men the right to vote:

An author and former executive who used to run several media companies was just caught on camera declaring that “straight, white males” not only shouldn’t vote, they should have their voting rights stripped away by the government.

Well, we say “caught.” In fact, Steven Clifford openly bragged about his views during a speaking forum.

“I think it’s the only hope for democracy in America and I will be leading a great movement to prohibit straight, white males, who I believe supported Donald Trump by about 85 percent, from exercising the franchise,” he declared to a PJ Media journalist.

Clifford said banning this demographic from heading to the polls is the only way to “save our democracy.”

Check it out (around 1:10):

Here’s more on the comment, per Western Journal:

Audio of the discussion strongly suggests that Clifford was completely serious about his proposal. He even confirmed to the reporter that he had said it and made sure the audience knew he was talking about straight white men.

It should go without saying that blocking millions of citizens from voting based on their race and sexual orientation is not only the opposite of democracy, it’s the very thing that liberals would normally rally against.

Imagine for just a moment if a conservative author had declared, with a straight face, that all gay, black men should be banned by the government from voting. There would be an uproar — and rightly so.
