Planned Parenthood just gave a crystal clear view of the man behind the curtain: In a five-word tweet, the abortion industry giant seemingly admitted to functioning as an extension of the Democrat National Committee.
While this unveiling did not surprise anyone, the nonprofit organization—which receives government funding—still openly sided 100 percent with the Democrat Party in a tweet which read, “We took back the House.”
The abortion giant slaughters the unborn and champions Democratic causes, yet continues to receive government funding.
Even worse, Planned Parenthood was able to emerge unscathed from a Congress completely controlled by Republicans. Any potential bill which would have defunded them would have certainly been signed into law by President Trump who previously supported the idea of defunding them.
Here’s how people on the social media platform responded to the tweet:
As Politico reported, the U.S. Supreme Court declined to take up a case brought by a pair of states which would have potentially opened up a way for states to independently defund Planned Parenthood.
From the report:
The Supreme Court on Monday declined to review whether states can block Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers from their Medicaid programs, passing on a pair of cases that would have served as the first major abortion test for the court’s new conservative majority.
Chief Justice John Roberts and the newest justice, Brett Kavanaugh, joined the court’s four liberal jurists in turning away a pair of petitions from Kansas and Louisiana seeking the ban on abortion providers.
The high court’s decision keeps in place a decision by a federal appellate court which prevented Medicaid enrollees form suing their states:

One federal appeals court previously ruled that Medicaid enrollees can’t sue their states for blocking funding to Planned Parenthood. Monday’s action by the Supreme Court doesn’t affect that decision for states in that federal circuit.
States have tried to defund Planned Parenthood since a series of undercover videos in 2015 purported to show the women’s health organization profiting off the sale of tissue from abortions. A series of investigations found no evidence of wrongdoing by Planned Parenthood, which has forcefully denied the claims made by anti-abortion activists behind the videos.
As Politico also reported, anti-abortion health clinics are being encouraged to apply for federal funding. This could lead to a potential showdown between the government doling federal funds to the competing groups.
“Anti-abortion family planning clinics are increasingly vying for the same federal funds that go to Planned Parenthood, signaling a major change in federal policy being pushed by the Trump administration,” Politico reported.
And: “This new front in the abortion wars comes as conservatives have largely given up on completely defunding Planned Parenthood, so they’re trying to use the rules to their advantage, pushing for faith-driven women’s clinics to apply for those same federal funds to push an anti-abortion agenda.”
