United States Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has reportedly emerged from cancer surgery and is now back to work.
On Friday, Ginsburg underwent her third surgery to remove two malignant cancer nodes in her left lung. Just three days later, Supreme Court spokesperson Kathy Arberg said the 85-year-old justice has completed her surgery and is working again.
Ginsburg’s surgery came after she fell in her office and broke three ribs. While being treated in the hospital for the rib injury, doctors found the cancerous growth.
The country’s highest court will meet next on January 7 and, despite her health problems, Ginsburg has not missed an argument.
President Trump wished the Clinton-appointee a “full and speedy recovery” on social media.
“Wishing Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg a full and speedy recovery!” Trump said in a tweet on Friday.
