Super Bowl Sunday is finally here and sports fanatics cannot be more excited. The pinnacle game of the season features future Hall of Famer Tom Brady and the New England Patriots taking on the Los Angeles Rams in the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
The halftime show will be performed by Maroon 5, American rapper and Georgia native Big Boi, and American rapper Travis Scott.
But, as USA Today reports, the Super Bowl is not just about the game, the sport, or the musical performance at halftime.
From the report:
Sure, everyone will be watching the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams battle it out in Super Bowl LIII. Tom Brady and Bill Belicheck … yada yada yada. We know all about the matchup.
But a majority of fans will be paying even more attention in between the action, specifically during commercial breaks.
The Super Bowl is the mecca for commercials, where one 30-second spot can cost more than $5 million. Speaking of which, why do they cost so much?
