Planned Parenthood President Leana Wen is now in the running for most oblivious tweet of the year when she tried to swipe the Trump administration on family separations which sometimes occurs at the southern border.
In the tweet, Wen cautioned against the harm caused when “forcibly removing a child from their parent or guardian.”
According to the Planned Parenthood president, who oversees an organization responsible for the most abortions in the country, the forceful separations “can cause lifelong physical and emotional harm to the child’s well-being.”
Check it out:
Planned Parenthood was responsible for 332,757 abortions in 2017-2018, according to their annual report. This number reflects an uptick from the 321,384 babies they killed in 2016-2017 and the 328,348 babies they killed in 2015-2016, the Hill reports.
And Wen wants to talk about the harm done to children who are forcibly removed from their parents?
One social media user who responded to Wen called the tweet a “self-awareness fail.”
