More Women Donated to Trump in Q1 Than Top 3 Dem Candidates COMBINED (Report)

President Trump is heading into his 2020 re-election campaign with an unprecedented financial lead on his opponents and, despite what mainstream media and his Democratic opponents claim, Trump is winning among a major voting demographic: women.

The president is often made out to be anti-women but he had more women donate to his campaign in the first quarter of this year than the top three Democratic presidential candidates combined.

The Daily Caller reports: “More women donated to President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign than any of the Democratic 2020 presidential candidates, according to FEC data.”

And, “10,375 women have donated to Trump in the first quarter of 2019, more than double the nearest Democratic challenger. California Sen. Kamala Harris had the second highest number of female donors with 3,850.”

Third place on the list, Senator Bernie Sanders, garnered donations from 3,271 women and fourth, former Congressman Beto O’Rourke, garnered 2,289.

The difference between Trump’s total and their combined totals is 965 donations or roughly the number received by Democratic candidate Andrew Yang (964).

This number is also larger than the number of donations received by Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (960), former Obama secretary Julian Castro (563), Governor Jay Inslee (473), Congressman John Delaney (451), former Governor John Hickenlooper (362), and Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard (164).

The Daily Caller adds:

Trump stacks up especially well against his Democratic competitors when looking at the gender breakdown of his donors.

A demographic breakdown of donors for each candidate ranks Trump third in gender parity, with 45.45% of his contributions coming from women. Trump sits behind New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, 52.48% of whose contributions come from women, and California Sen. Kamala Harris, 49.27% of whose contributions come from women.

Trump beats all other Democratic presidential candidates in this category across the first quarter of 2019, including Senator Amy Klobuchar, Senator Elizabeth Warren, South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg, and Senator Bernie Sanders.

The Daily Caller reports, when taking into account all of his fundraising efforts, before the first quarter of 2019, a total of 20,363 women have donated $7,592,966 to him. The sheer number of women donating to his campaign beats all Democratic presidential candidates combined.
