When it comes to receiving bad career advice, activist and former White House intern Monica Lewinsky said she’s received some of the worst.
Responding to a Twitter discussion on terrible career advice a person has received, Lewinsky said interning at the White House would look great on a resume but was a decision that haunted her entire life.
“What’s the worst career advice you’ve ever received?” Wharton psychologist Adam Grant asked.
What’s the worst career advice you’ve ever received?
(1) Don’t waste your time helping others
(2) Drop 90% of your projects, because you can only do one at a time
(3) Don’t write a book
