Trump: ‘Antifa In My Opinion Is A Terrorist Organization’

On Wednesday, President Trump revealed his administration is exploring various avenues to address Antifa, a notoriously violent group which alleges to be against fascism.

Speaking to a group of reporters outside of the White House, the Washington Post reports Trump said: “Antifa, in my opinion, is a terrorist organization. You see what they’ve been doing. We’ve had great support on that.”

The Washington Post reports the comments started when Trump responded to a question from NewsMax reporter John Gizzi. Trump said his administration is “looking at a lot of different things relative to Antifa” before definitively determining them to be a terror group.

The president’s comments echo a tweet he posted over the weekend when he said: “Major consideration is being given to naming ANTIFA an ‘ORGANIZATION OF TERROR.’”

“Portland is being watched very closely. Hopefully, the Mayor will be able to properly do his job!” the president added.

The far-Left group regularly attacks conservatives and pedestrians at various political protests around the country, specifically targetting Trump supporters.

Andy Ngo, a conservative editor of Quillette, regularly reports on Antifa’s violent tendency and was a victim himself when members of the group viciously beat him and threw milkshakes with cement mix in them at him.

Ngo posted a series of videos to Twitter concerning Antifa’s latest brutal assaults:
