Feminist Claims 2nd Amendment Is Racist After Sarah Huckabee Sanders Tweets About It

Former White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders reminded everyone that the right to bear arms in the Constitution was given by God.

Taking on Democratic talking points head-on, Sanders said it is God that provided the right and the Constitution simply recognizes it. The federal government should subsequently protect the right, one could infer from the tweet.

“Democrats say we have guns in America because of ‘corruption.’ No, we have guns because it’s our God-given right enshrined in the Constitution,” Sanders tweeted.

The national conversation about guns and gun ownership continues amid a wave of Democratic presidential candidates routinely and repeatedly talking about banning certain guns or requiring a gun buy-back system.

Sanders’ tweet also recognizes the underlying principle in the gun ownership debate that the right to bear arms extends to all American citizens, uninfringed.

Twitchy reports, however, that at least one individuals who responded to Sanders took offense and claimed the Second Amendment and the Constitution as a whole “doesn’t apply to Black folks.”
