Trump Says Pelosi Is ‘No Longer Speaker Of The House’ And The Left Loses Their Minds

President Trump told a group of reporters at the White House on Wednesday afternoon that Nancy Pelosi “was no longer Speaker of the House.”

And they lost their minds.

“Last I checked, Nancy Pelosi is the speaker of the house. I have no idea what he was referencing there,” CNN host Brooke Baldwin said per BizPac Review.

And, from the report:

The president made the clearly sarcastic remark after being asked by a reporter whether the rumors were true that he’d begged Pelosi to let him off the hook and not pursue impeachment.

“Not at all,” he replied. “No. Look, she’s lost her way. She’s been taken over by the radical left. She may be a radical left herself, but she really has lost her way. I spoke to her about guns yesterday. She didn’t even know what I was talking about. She’s not interested in guns.”

“I’ll tell you what: Nancy Pelosi is not interested in guns and gun protection and gun safety,” he replied. “All she is thinking about is this. She’s been taken over by the radical left, the whole Democrat Party. And you take a look at what’s happening in the media today. The whole party is taken over by the left.”

People hated the comment, BizPac Review reports. Check it out:

While Pelosi legally holds the title of speaker of the House, the president is continuing to draw attention to a shift in the Democrat Party and its leadership in Congress.

Pelosi was only voted as Speaker in the first place under an agreement that she would only serve one term. The agreement was forced on her by a new wave of a much younger, more progressive group of members led by Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

So, since Day 1, Ocasio-Cortez has been dictating the rules of the House and several political pundits are beginning to claim that the New York congresswoman—not the California congresswoman—is the influencing factor in the House’s legislative agenda.

Although Ocasio-Cortez has pitched the two biggest legislative initiatives to the chamber, neither one has received a vote.

BizPac Review reports the Washington Post previously chided Pelosi for playing second-fiddle to the 29-year-old former waitress and bartender.

“The fiery clutch of freshman House Democrats — diverse, female and unapologetically outspoken — isn’t just making noise in Washington,” the Washington Post reportedly wrote in March.

“The new Democrats — symbolized by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) — are pushing to change the way the nation’s capital does business, challenging the old guard in ways it’s not used to. And in some cases, the new Democrats are winning,” the report continued.

And, earlier in the year when Pelosi was called on to reject Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar’s anti-Semitic comments, she did not. Instead, Pelosi made a defense for them and failed to scold the member for the controversy.

Fox News’ Sean Hannity claimed her decision was what it was because Ocasio-Cortez supported Omar, so Pelosi was doing what she could to not upset her.

“So that means without a doubt House Speaker Pelosi is terrified of being overthrown by even more radicals within her party,” Hannity said at the time, per BizPac Review. “So tonight it’s pretty safe to say that the real speaker of the House for the Democrats is Ocasio-Cortez, not Nancy Pelosi.”

“She’s calling the shots,” the host added. “And sadly, this kind of apathy about racism, bigotry inside the Democrat Party — it’s nothing new.”

BizPac Review reports the above liberal pundits do not understand the president was being sarcastic:
