‘The Spirit Of America’: New White House Decorations Lived Up To All The Hype

It’s the time of the year again when First Lady Melania Trump unveils how she and her team decorated the White House—and she delivered big time with a sparkling spectacle designed to showcase the “Spirit of America.”

Smoothly transitioning from room to room, different parts of America—its spirit and the uniqueness of its various regions—are fairly represented.

One room featured a large, flawless gingerbread White House with accompanying depictions of California’s Golden Gate Bridge, Washington’s Space Needle, South Dakota’s Mount Rushmore, Texas’ Alamo Museum, Missouri’s Archway, and New York’s Statue of Liberty.

Another room included the White House Christmas tree, featuring each of the 50 state’s respective flowers.

The first lady shared photos of the decorations online.

She also shared a brief video tour:

Several members of the media were given a private tour of the decorations and shared their own photos online.

“Absolutely stunning,” said Amber Athey, the White House Correspondent for the Daily Caller.
