Candace Owens Crushes Alyssa Milano Over KKK Hood-MAGA Hat Comparison

Following the widely publicized verbal clash of Covington Catholic High School students with Native American political activists, liberal actress Alyssa Milano tweeted that the red “Make America Great Again” hats were modern-day KKK hoods.

Milano took to social media and said: “The red MAGA hat is the new white hood. Without white boys being able to empathize with other people, humanity will continue to destroy itself.”

“Milano made the remarks when she ― like liberals everywhere ― pushed the false narrative that MAGA hat-wearing teen Nick Sandmann had bullied a left-wing Native American activist. Unedited video later proved those claims false,” BizPac Review reports.

The liberal actress’ comparison was widely criticized, including a stinging rebuttal from conservative rising star Candice Owens.

During an interview with Fox News’ Jesse Watters, Owens called Milano “insane” over the tweet.

“This hard-left insane person that tweets things that — you can laugh at it — but is ultimately really offensive,” Owens told Watters before sharing that her grandfather was a victim of the KKK and would regularly be attacked or terrorized by them.”

“You wanna talk about cultural appropriation? Imagine being a white woman who has had no experience with the KKK, and no history of it in her family. My grandfather is still breathing, so when somebody wants to talk about the KKK, those stories growing up in my household were very real. They used to shoot bullets inside his home,” Owens said.

“I’m a black American. For [Alyssa Milano], it’s nothing,” she continued. “It’s just a means for her to shout into the Twitter echo chamber to try to get power, which is really what the Left is all about now.”

“They use minority experiences to garner power and attention. I called her out for that on Twitter, and she blocked me instantly,” Owens added.

And, via BizPac Review:

Owens then pointed out the hypocrisy of virtue-signaling leftists like Milano, who claim to champion minorities, but then immediately blocks one simply for disagreeing with her.

“This is a woman who says that she champions minority voices. And yet when a minority voice steps up and says they disagree with her, she instantly blocks them,” Candace noted.

“What does that mean? Everything she does is self-serving. She doesn’t care about minorities. She cares about power and attention — like most leftists do.”

Owens was far from the only one to call out Milano over the comparison, as Gov. Palin wrote on Monday:

Well, there you go again Alyssa.

Comparing MAGA apparel with white hoods, intimating that anyone who’s worn MAGA has no love for minorities or “other people” who don’t look like you or your “perfect” child.

How dare you.

Alyssa, did you not know white hoods represented hatred for minorities and “handicapped” children and adults whom the hooded KKK and white supremacists deemed unworthy of life? Remember some Democrat leaders of old – like Sen. Robert Byrd – embracing all that as part of their disgusting KKK association?

So from your warped Hollywood perch are you including MAGA-wearing moms of Native American AND ”different” children in your intolerant, prejudiced, gag-inducing rhetoric?
